2013 Year End Thank You

We’re approaching the end of another interesting year at the Sugar Bottom Mountain Bike Trails.  Heavy rain in the spring and a federal government shut down in the fall caused some extra work and inconvenience, but we got through them.  A big thank you to all those who came out to help with the trail work this year.  As usual we got a lot done.  In the spring we had to spend quite an effort getting some bridges put back that were displaced by storms.  When the bridges all got restored we had quite good riding using all the trails during the lake’s extended high water period.
Also a big thank you to all who donated to ICORR at the donation boxes or by joining.  We spent quite a bit this year extending or fixing existing bridges.  Also a big thanks to the Army Corps of Engineers who supplied material for the new bridge on the 101 reroute.
Note that the trail work is done for the year and that the trails will close during December for the shot gun deer season.  After that,  the trails will be opened whenever it is cold enough to keep the trails frozen.
