Our favorite spring event is back for the Eighth Edition this year! This event allows riders to experience everything that Sugar Bottom has to offer – 12 miles of classic Iowa singletrack, 1400’ elevation gain – three times: Sugar, Cubed. Our Trail Gnomes have made been busy with trail and boardwalk updates to help increase your smiles to miles ratio, and the course will be in the normal trail direction this year.
As in in the past, you can choose to complete one, two, or the Full Monte Three Laps, but we’re changing it up a bit this year by adding awards for the top one and two lap finishers! Of course we’ll have the sweet, artisan Trail Gnome crafted Red Oak Cubes for our overall three lap winners and awards for all who complete 3 laps, as well as the award winning Grill Masters stoking the fires to put the feed on for all the racers.
