Saturday, April 13 2024: Day Trip from Bike Library to Bur Oak Land Trust Big Grove Preserve for an Ephemeral Wildflower Tour!
Strap on the panniers! It’s a bikepacking day trip. Bring lunch and drinks, hiking shoes, bike lock, flat kit, blanket or chair, & weather appropriate clothes.
Meet at the Bike Library at 10am. We will ride ~23 miles round trip. Find the route here.
We will eat lunch and chat before having a guided hike from 12:30pm to ~2pm by a Bur Oak Land Trust naturalist who will show case the beautiful, short lived, forest flowers of spring. Ride home to return ~3:30-4pm. Rain or shine. Event is free and open to the public but registration is required. Limited to 25 participants. Snag your spot here.
