Sugar Bottom Closed Due To Government Shutdown

Effective Tuesday, October 1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has closed all Corps-operated campgrounds and day-use parks nationwide as a result of the federal government shutdown. Sugar is closed to all use including running, hiking, Frisbee golf, and camping as well.  Note that rangers issue civil citations which requirement payment of fine or appearance in court.
During this time, please honor the IMBA rules of the trail and ride at one of the many fine trail systems which are not located on federal public land.
